Roger took to the court at the All England Club and faced the crafty, Alexandr Dolgopolov in the 1st round of Wimbledon.

Roger looked solid while an injured Dolgopolov just didn't have the firepower or consistency to hurt the Swiss star. After 42 minutes, Dolgopolov retired from the match 6-3, 3-0.

During the match, Roger hit 10 aces including his milestone 10,000th ace to become the 3rd man to achieve such an accomplishement. Currently at 10,004 aces in 1294 matches, he sits 3rd on the list behind Goran Ivanisevic and Ivo Karlovic.

Roger will face Dusan Lajovic from Serbia in the 2nd round.
