June 18, 2018 -- Stuttgart, Germany Roger solidified his number 1 ranking on the ATP Tour after reaching the Mercedes Cup Final against, Milos Raonic. Going into the final with that added confidence, Roger took on the big hitting Canadian. With only one break of serve going to Roger throughout the whole match, both players served strong, but Roger maintained the edge. He beat him 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) in the final giving him his 98th Tour title. "I played very well throughout the tournament, it is a great comeback for me. I am so happy to have won," said Roger. "I was hoping to play a couple matches here but I have played four and won them all. The last few have been very good. I hope I keep it up at Halle and Wimbledon. It will give me a boost as well being back at world number one." Roger will be in Halle next week, competing for his 10th title there.
June 15, 2018 -- Stuttgart, Germany Roger battled Guido Pella to make his way into the semifinals in the Mercedes Cup. In front of a packed stadium, the fan favorite showed off his new Wilson racquet and cool blue hues during one of the first grass court tournaments of the season. He lost just 12 points on serve and saved the break points he faced against the Argentine to claim his 14th consecutive grass-court win. Roger will face Australian, Nick Kyrgios, in the semifinal match.
June 13, 2018 -- Stuttgart, Germany Roger took to the courts for his first match of the grass court season against Germany's, Mischa Zverev. Finding himself against a veteran grass court player and back competing after a bit of a break, the Swiss Maestro needed three sets to get the victory under his belt. "I'm very happy returning on good terms on to the tour. It's difficult, missed some chances maybe in the first set, he connected well at the right times. Then I found my rhythm," Roger said. "I'm super happy to be back on tour -- it's been a great start." Roger is currently number 2 on the ATP Tour but will regain the number one spot if he reaches the final. The 36-year old won 3-6 6-4 6-2 in his 5th tournament of the year.

May 2nd, 2018 -- Stuttgart, Germany

The greatest player of all time is coming back to Stuttgart to kick of his grass court season.

With 20 Grand Slam titles under his belt, Roger Federer, announced today that he will join the entrants for this years Mercedes Cup. Other players who have committed to play include Milos Raonic, Lucas Pouille, Nick Kyrgios, Denis Shapovalov, Hyeon Chung along with several others. 

“The atmosphere at TC Weissenhof is amazing. You immediately feel that this club is full of life. The fans get really going during the matches. On grass, my expectations are naturally high, so, I’m looking forward to once again playing in Stuttgart”, said the 97-times ATP tournament winner.

Roger was named one of Time's Most Influential People this month for not only his accomplishments on the court, but also his philanthropy off the court.
